The Mogul Shamrat, the award winning restaurant in the heart of Thornbury, near Bristol. Just 5 minutes drive from junctions 14 & 16 on the M5.

Enjoy a drink at our fully licensed bar then delight in the best of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. We have entertained our customers since 1988 in our comfortable 50-seater restaurant. It retains the character and some of the features of the original 16th century building. It was then known as Tudor House, at a time when  Henry VIII entertained Anne Boleyn at  nearby Thornbury Castle.

To avoid disappointment, please call to make your reservation in advance. We also welcome parties.

There is ample car parking in the street or behind the restaurant in the public car park
